Liedto,

Remember the Rally they had in Lockport this past summer? I do!

I was there I shot many hours of video and took hundreds of pictures. And made a point to speak to as many people as possible.

Most of the people there were from out of town and state than there were Lockport Employees! Why?

Because they knew that they don't have the backing of the Lockport UAW members.

So they turned to the other sheeple to make them look good.

They even brought in the "Gun Buy Back Mayor" ( Buffalo Byron Brown ).

Look at the last few contract votes the UAW tried to push down their throats. Lockport shot them down 3-1!

Hey Gettelfu****, Kagel, Williams. UAW Region 9.

This Ought to make You feel real Proud of Yourselves!

I'm proud to be a member of IUE-CWA

Re ěDonít blame UAW for loss of IUE benefits,î Sept. 15: I felt compelled to respond to this letter to the editor. The IUE-CWA leadership did indeed negotiate a VEBA package, as the UAW did with General Motors. This was signed before the end of 2008, but GM chose not to implement the signed agreement.

Through this past year, the IUE-CWA members have had an extremely tough time because the UAW chose not to step up and include all the brothers and sisters that were within the splinter unions that work within the GM family. The international president of the IUE-CWA, Jim Clark, worked very long through tough months leading up to the agreement just approved for all the splinter unions within GM.

Had the UAW extended its hand in these tough economic times, then none of the members would have been subjected to the dealings that went on this past year. Without the helping hand of the IUE-CWA, the smaller union members would have been tossed aside, as the IUE was by GM.

I retired in February 2005 and I am proud to be a union member of the IUE-CWA.

Jack,

I've seen what you are talking about, non-stop in Janesville.  Most people are just for themselves, and when they get into a union position, it normally is just self serving.   Most people I truly believe who run for and get elected to union positions, are in it for the money, or so they can sneak out of work early and get paid.  We had a true old hard core union man in Janesville, who was honest, smart, totally union ( I mean union principals of the past ), named Jerry Ahrens.  Jerry is now retired, but I can tell you why people lined up against him in elections.  When Jerry Ahrens was Shopchair in Janesville, he ran a tight ship.  The committeeman under him had better be on top of there game, know the contract, and represent to your fullest.  No body on the shop committee or even a district committeeman, had better come back from and extended lunch break drunk, or left early to go home, or to some bar.  If Ahrens caught you, you were in for hell, and maybe a sock in the mouth.  Ahrens position was, if the people on the line have to work 8 or 10 hours, the least you could do is stay right to the end of the shift, just like the union members you represent.   So guess what, next  election for union officials, everyone lines up against Jerry Ahrens because he was a hard ass, and with him in there you couldn't Fu** off.   In the end your locals and Solidarity House end up with a bunch of worthless pieces of shit, who are in the union just for there own benefit.

One more example for you.  In Janesville, there was a trades committeeman who was a carer politician, by the name of Ron Splan.  Splan was able to get 5 of his brothers in the trades, also his son-inlaw in the trades, right off the street.  Splan would leave work every day at 11:45am, and walk right past the personnel directors office and say have a good one, and then go right to the tavern!!!!!!!!  He was so far in the back pocket of management it was sickening.  But guess what, the idiot membership would keep voting this guy back in as a committeeman or even a zone committeeman.

End the end, the idiot membership gets exactly what they deserve.  Because they support and vote in these morons.  Angry Angry Angry [ /b]

These posts just brought back bad memories, of the SOB'S in the union, who thought of no one but their greedy ass selves, when they knew the membership wanted to become UAW and some how, the scum bags, made us go to the CWA!  They didn't want to become UAW, because they couldn't double dip.  Do you think anyone says something to them now....thanking the ass wipes...for the predicament, they got the IUE members into?  PEOPLE!  Angry Angry  Roll Eyes
