Does anyone know what principally dependent children are? My sisters husband is retired, he covers my nephew, his step son with healthcare. 2 days ago they received a letter (I received the same). It states no new dependents will be enrolled. It also states principally dependent children will be removed as of Oct. 1, 2009. We are panicked, He has asthma,adhd and juvenile diabetes. He takes alot of medication and we're wondering if this means he will no longer have healthcare? Does anyone know about this? She will call benefits on Monday, but hoping not to panic all weekend. Any knowledge would be appreciated. Thanks, magysmom and Jake
